Electives at Hoover include both Visual and Performing Arts and traditional electives.

6th Grade Electives Plan

All 6th Grade students will take a full-year of Physical Education, a full-year performing arts class (Band, Orchestra, Chorus, or Theatre) as well as four exploratory classes for nine weeks each.

Exploratory Classes

The Exploratory Wheel will rotate elective classes at the end of each quarter. The wheel contains Leadership, Career/Community Service, Middle School 101, and Study Skills.

7th and 8th grade Electives

7th and 8th grade students will choose from a wide variety of electives.
